‘Inspired By’ is a Blog Series I am starting where I highlight a big fashion icon every Monday by re-creating one of her looks.
For my very first installation in my new series ‘Inspired By’, I chose a very modern day fashion icon and influencer. She is very edgy, yet super chic. Danielle Bernstein, founder of the popular ‘WeWoreWhat‘ among many other things, is one of the biggest inspirations for me to start my own blog.

Danielle is a mega-influencer with 2.5 million followers on Instagram. She is the first blogger I started following in 2013, and the biggest inspiration for me to start my own blog. Danielle’s style is very edgy and fierce, while always looking classy and chic. She exudes confidence, most predominantly shown through her outfits, which are almost impossible to replicate with such style and ease.
She has also turned her blogging brand into multiple businesses. Her most well known would be her own clothing line, Shop WeWoreWhat, and her collaboration with Macy’s under the label Danielle Bernstein. She also has a startup tech company called Moe Assist. Earlier this year, her first book was published and she even made the New York Times Best-Selling List! I pre-ordered it, and cannot wait to read it. After the pandemic hit, she wanted to help any way she could and created ‘WeGaveWhat‘ which helps charity organizations and small businesses. She seems to be constantly striving to make our world a better place.
