Pumpkin Spice Coffee – Fashion Tuna

I love all things pumpkin spice, but with the weather still being rather warm in the south it is nice to have an iced drink instead of something hot. But you want the pumpkin spice flavor, so you opt for the hot drink instead. Did you know, you can get it iced? It is super simple, and you can make them yourself at home. All you need is instant coffee (or coffee concentrate), pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice), water, and almond milk. Let’s step up the ‘Work from Home’ coffee game this season with this simple recipe.

4 TBSP hot water

2 tsp instant coffee

2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 cup cold water

3/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

ice, glasses, reusable straws

  1. Make coffee concentrate using hot water and instant coffee. Mix until dissolved. Add pumpkin pie spice. Stir until combined. Pour over ice in 2 glasses, about 2 TBSP each glass.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup cold water into each glass. Top with generous splash of almond milk. Stir.

Other Options:

  • Hot Coffee: make a regular cup instead of instant and add tsp of pumpkin pie spice or put pumpkin pie spice in coffee grounds to let coffee brew with spices
  • Latte: can make into a latte by adding steamed almond milk instead of cold
