The Best Frozen Drink Recipes & Local Spots
Who doesn’t love a holiday created for a drink?! Well good news: tomorrow is National Piña Colada Day! Get your excuse ready to play hooky because you deserve to take the day off and treat yourself. Mix up your favorite Piña colada recipe, or use mine, and head to a pool, beach, rooftop, or your own backyard.

The Grand Hotel Marriott Resort and Golf Club and their sister property, the Colony, have the best Piña Coladas around! Sunset Pointe also does frozen drinks and a nice view.
2 oz Kahlua
2 oz Light Rum
1 oz cream de cocoa
4 oz coconut cream
4 oz half and half
4-6 cups ice
For Garnish: chocolate syrup, Bacardi
151 shot topper, chocolate syrup,
coconut flakes, cherry
The Perfect Piña Colada
2 oz Light Rum (i.e. Bacardi)
2 oz Malibu Rum
2 oz Coconut Cream
2 oz Heavy Cream
12 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
4 cups Ice
Fresh Pineapple Slices/Chunks
note: you can hollow out a pineapple, use the fruit from the inside for the juice, then pour your drink inside the empty pineapple!
Frosé: the frozen rosé cocktail
1 bottle rosé
2 cups strawberries, frozen
fresh strawberries, for garnish
Freeze rosé and strawberries
overnight. Blend together the
next day. Garnish with strawberry.
