Re-Inventing Summer Favorites with a Fall TwistThis tie-shoulder gingham dress has been one of my favorites all summer long, which is what made me want to put a different spin on it in order to transition it into my fall wardrobe. With that being said, I am loving the t-shirt and slip dress trend. For this fall transition look, I paired my gingham sun dress with a long sleeve white t-shirt giving it a very casual, yet warm look. For cooler months, I would suggest a turtleneck for extra warmth. Booties really help pull of the fall look. A cute pair of tall boots or OTK (over the knee) boots would also be really cute. This idea could be executed with any cute summer dress, even florals which are perfect for this fall. I would also recommend trying a red boot or bootie to give the look an extra pop with autumn’s hottest color. Whenever I wear a hat, I feel as though my look is completely pulled together. I love how berets are making a comeback and I highly suggest you invest in one for the upcoming seasons! I promise you will not regret it. dress: May 2017 Express | boots: August 2017 Dolce Vita via Saks Off 5th| sunnies: August 2017 Krewe | shirt: April 2014J.
