Exploring Utah’s National Parks The Utah National Parks really are something else! I didn’t have more than half a day at each one, so I only have a couple of top highlights for each. I started in Zion National Park, then headed north to Bryce Canyon National Park. Here I was at a higher elevation, and there was snow everywhere! The contrast of the white snow with the red hoodoos was quite the sight to behold. I then went to Capitol Reef National Park where I felt like I was driving through the rocks. It is hard to pick a favorite between these three: they are all so different, yet so equally magnificent. Zion National Park- scenic park drive- Riverrock Roasting Company: great coffee with a great viewBryce Canyon National Park- scenic park drive- Bryce Canyon Lodge: great hotel location inside the parkCapitol Reef National Park- extreme scenic park drives: some may require 4WD or be closed due to flooding- feel as if in a hall of giants
