La Vie Est Belle Of all the traveling I have done, I have yet to visit Europe. When I was recently presented with the opportunity to travel around France, I jumped at it! I spent 24 hours in Paris, which truly is the city of love, then hopped on a quick flight south to Marseilles. I spent the rest of my trip around Avignon and driving around Provence. Every minute in this country brought a new adventure! In Paris, the lovely Hotel Daniel is a great place to stay. It is so charming and quaint, with an afternoon tea and freshly baked goodies. It is located just steps from some of the best attractions! It was a great place to stay, being so centrally located. And the staff was amazing. Strolling down Champs-Elysee to the Arc de Triomphe had always been on my bucket list, and it did not disappoint! Window shopping as we walked, the stores were fabulous, but did not compare to the architectural beauty of the Arc de Triomphe! We tucked down a few side streets and stumbled in to a great little cafe, which of course served fries with every meal. We saved the Eiffel Tower for night, when it is glowing from all the lights. And I mean, WOW!!! Walking up to the structure and I felt chills, not from the cold. I understand why it is called the City of Lights, as it now has a very special place in my heart.
